How we are funded – can you help?

The Garfield Weston Foundation have very kindly awarded SWCC a grant of £10,000 to help us continue our work.  This generous grant will help us to support around 13 people with potentially life changing support as they make changes in their lives and turn away from crime, and means that we now have secured over 94% of the money that we need to raise in the current financial year.  As a charity we have to raise all of the money that we spend each year, and grants like this one from The Garfield Weston Foundation ensure that we can keep on doing what we do, helping around 160 people across the year.

Our other big funders in 2019/20 are The Henry Smith Charity, Lloyds Bank Foundation, The Tudor Trust and the Worshipful Company of Weavers.  As well as these we have a myriad of local and national trusts who have given us between £100 and £5,000 each in support of our work.

But it’s not only trusts and foundations who support us – we also rely on the generosity of individuals who give monthly, annually or one-off in support of our work, and we’d be delighted if you would join them.
